Thanks to you and many others who support the performing arts in Central Wisconsin, Everest Academy for the Arts, Inc.'s 2010 debut season was a great success. We hope that you had the opportunity to attend some of the Academy's 2010 offerings, which included:
- Partnering with Introspect Dance Company featuring local dancers, singers and musicians and highlighting current social issues.
- A four show run of Miss Saigon staged by a cast, crew, staff and orchestra of more than 80 members, and seen by an audience of over 1500.
- Conducting camps with emphasis on theater scene study and musical theater dance for area students.
- Hosting Ephemerui, a New York based dance company that presented cutting edge original works and collaborated with local dance team students.
We are very proud of our successful 2010 season, but we aren't resting on our laurels. With your help, 2011 will provide the Academy with another opportunity to showcase the talents of local student and adult performers. We are proud to partner again with Introspect for the final installment of its trilogy of modern dance performances. The Academy's musical theater production for 2011 will be EVITA! The show will be held at the DC Everest Senior High Theater in August. Stay tuned for details on audition and performance dates.
We are again asking for your help in continuing to provide quality performance and educational opportunities in Central Wisconsin by becoming a 2011 annual donor. In addition to the inherent benefits of a vibrant performing arts community, your donation will assist the Academy in continuing its mission of enriching the creative spirit of the community in all aspects of the performing arts.
The Academy is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and is not affiliated with the D.C. Everest School District. We depend entirely on community support in order to continue to present quality programs for Central Wisconsin audiences, performers and musicians. Your continued assistance is vital to our success.
Thank you for your support of the arts in Central Wisconsin and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
Sincerely,
John A. Kramer
President, Everest Academy for the Arts
